Cross Country Women Place Second at Gettysburg
Amy Wampler placed eighth among 289 runners at Gettysburg

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The CNU women’s cross country team took second place among 28 teams at the Gettysburg Invitational as CNU competed on two fronts Saturday.
Amy Wampler took eighth place in 24:15, Dira Hansen was 12th in 24:26 and Jade Zaharoff was 21st in 25:04 as CNU totaled 88 points to trail only Division II Shippensburg St. which won with 72.. CNU’s top five runners all finished in the top 24 among the 289 runners in the race.
For the men, Josh Bowling placed 119th in 29:16 to pace the Captains who finished 19th among 25 teams
Karlan Cruz was CNU’s top finisher in the Tribe Invitational at William & Mary, placing 37th in 31:27. Only the men’s team competed.
