Men's Soccer Slips to No.7, Field Hockey up to No. 14

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The CNU men's soccer team slipped to No. 7 in the nation in the d3soccer.com poll, while the field hockey team rose to No. 14.
After falling to No. 13 Salisbury, 2-1, on the road last Wednesday, the 13-2 Captains fell to No. 7 in the d3soccer.com poll and No. 10 in the National Soccer Coaches Assiciation of America poll. CNU hosts Mary Washington Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
The field hockey team moved up to No. 14 in the poll of the National Field Hockey Coaches Assocation after a 3-1 victory over 14th-ranked Johns Hopkins last Saturday. The Captains visit No. 9 Lynchburg Thursday.
