NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - CNU's women's soccer team has been seeded second in the USA South soccer tournament and will host N.C. Wesleyan Tuesday.
CNU closed its regular season Friday with a 5-1 wi n at N.C. Wesleyan.
The Captains finished second in the conference with a 7-0-2 record, behind Meredith which was 8-1.
The seedings are determined by a point system which awards three points for a win and one for a tie. CNU defeated Meredith in the regular season, 4-2, in a game played Oct. 11 in Raleigh, N.C.
The game will be played Tuesday evening at Captains Field at a time to be determined.
The tournament seedings
