GREENSBORO, NC - The men squeezed out a 30-34 victory over Shenandoah, despite the Hornets sweeping the top three individual places. The Captains took the next ten places to win for the 15th consecutive year.

Jeffrey Ball led CNU with a fourth place finish in 28:36 and was followed by Rookie of the Year Aaron Zook in 28:50 and Runner of ther Year Corey Lofton who was sixth in 29:01. Lofton has been running injured lately. All ten of CNU's runners earn all-conference honors as the top 15 finishers are considered all conference.

Led by sophomore Dira Hansen, who won in 23:52, the CNU women took the top three places and defeated Shenandoah, 23-45. Brooke Rowe was second in 23:55 and Amy Wampler third in 24:12.

It was the CNU women's 12th straight title.
