Quesenberry Named Women's Basketball Assistant
Summer Quesenberry is CNU's new women's basketball assistant coach

Newport News, VA- Christopher Newport University Director of Athletics C.J. Woollum and women’s basketball coach Carolyn Hunter today announced the hiring of SUMMER QUESENBERRY as assistant women’s basketball coach.
“I’m very excited to have someone of Summer’s caliber joining our program,” Hunter said. “She’s going to be a great addition and will work well with our group.”
Quesenberry comes to CNU from Vassar College in New York, where she served as an assistant coach as well as interim head coach.
A native of St. Paris, Ohio, Quesenberry graduated from Ohio Wesleyan, where she was a four-year member of the women’s basketball squad.
Quesenberry began her duties at CNU on Wednesday. The CNU women’s squad begins practice next week and opens the season on November 18th at the Freeman Center against Lynchburg.
