Roanoke Edges Men's Basketball, 73-72

SALEM, Va. - Roanoke rallied from a 16-point deficit and scored a 73-72 win over CNU in the men 's basketball opener for both teams Sunday.
CNU had a 65-49 lead with 14:28 to play, but managed just seven points the rest of the way.
The Captains were led by Mike Green with 22 points. Conley Taylor had 17 and Paul Going 15. Mark Blasingame finished with nine points, 13 rebounds and five blocked shots.
CNU will open its home season Nov. 24 against Virginia Wesleyan at 7:30.
