NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Honors continue to roll in during CNU's outstanding volleyball season, as three players earned All-America recognition from the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Junior Caitlyn Jansen, the USA South Player of the Year, MVP of the conference tournament and Most Outstanding Player at the New York Regional, received third team honors. She becomes just the second junior ever to be named All-America at CNU.

Freshmen Kara Elder and Abby Hogge received honorable mention recognition, the first two CNU freshmen ever to reach that honor. Elder was a first team all-USA South choice, the conference's Rookie of the Year and all-South Region. Hogge was also all-South Region but, amazingly, was left off the all-USA Souith team in a vote of the coaches.

The Captains play Wisconsin-Oshkosh in the Elite 8 round of the NCAA tournament at 8 p.m. Thursday in Cleveland.
