NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Christopher Newport men's soccer and field hockey teams both moved up during the past week in their sport's repective polls.
Soccer improved to No. 5 in the d3soccer.com poll and No. 7 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America rankings.
The field hockey team, which defeated two nationally-ranked opponents in two recent games, improved to No. 12 in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association poll.
