CHARLESTON, SC – Christopher Newport’s sailing squad opened its spring schedule with a 17^th place finish at the Charleston Spring Coed Intersectional this past weekend.

Eckerd won the event, followed by Charleston, Yale, Boston and South Florida. CNU placed ahead of Tennessee.

Team members were Ben France, Lynn Ball, Tyler Million, Jessica Thal and Maxwell Plarr.

The Captains return to action March 7-8 when they head to Norfolk, VA for the Old Dominion Spring Open.
