NORFOLK, VA – Christopher Newport’s sailing squad placed fifth at the Old Dominion Spring Open this past weekend.
Vermont won the event, followed by Georgetown, ODU and St. Mary’s. CNU’s fifth place finish gave them victories over Navy, Fordham, George Washington, William & Mary, Hampton, Maryland, Drexel, Maryland-Baltimore County and Cornell.
Team members were Ben France, Lynn Ball, Jessica Thal and Tyler Million.
The Captains return to action this weekend when they host the Icefree Invitational at the CNU Sailing Center.
