Amy Wampler placed 22nd among 82 Division I runners

  WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Senior Amy Wampler took 22nd place in a field of 82 Division I runners at the Colonial Inter-Regional Challenge Saturday.

  Wampler was timed in 23:04 for the 6K race and was followed across the line by Brooke Rowe in 33rd place in 23:34 and Dira Hansen in 34th with a time of 23:42.

  As a team the CNU women took fifth place of eight squads, defeating Hmapton Longwoopd and Howard while losing to Toledo, William & Mary, Navy and Norfolk St.

  Corey Lofton was the top men’s finisher for CNU, taking 33rd place in 27:22. The Captains placed eighth in the all-Division I meet won by Tennessee.
