Jessica Morris joins the Athletic Communications department at CNU
CNU Names Morris Assistant Director of Athletic Communications

NEWPORT NEWS, VA- Christopher Newport University Director of Athletics, C.J. Woollum, today announced the hiring of JESSICA MORRIS as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications.
“We are very excited to have Jessica Morris join our full-time staff,” Woollum said. “Her experience, skills and engaging personality make her a welcome addition to our family.”
Morris is a graduate of Mary Washington College with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. She was a two-time field hockey All-American while playing for the Eagles.
Morris has served as Web Presence Manager and Graphics Coordinator for International Cooperating Ministries of Hampton since 2002.
She has also assisted the CNU field hockey program since 2004 and has been working with the communications office in a part-time capacity since the fall.
Morris began her new duties at Christopher Newport on February 2.
