Captains football returns to Pomoco Stadium for their tenth season of gridiron action beginning Saturday, September 4th. Gameday is your site for all of the information you need to know when cheering on the Captains!
ParkingThere are no changes to the parking policies for visitors to campus on game day.
- Captains Crew members at the Captain level and above will have a reserved parking area in Lot N and can access this area by utilizing the entrance behind Potomac River Hall with the designated pass provided by the CNU athletic ticket office.
- General admission parking is available on a first come, first served basis in the section of Lot N closest to Moores Lane. To access this area, take a right onto Moores Ln. from Shoe Ln. and use the second entrance on your right.
- Handicapped parking is available in both portions of Lot N and also in Lot L which is accessible through the entrance to campus behind Potomac River Hall.
Campus Parking MapTailgatingChristopher Newport University will permit tailgating in
Lot N, the only sanctioned tailgating lot on campus. All fans participating in tailgating must comply with the campus tailgating policy, below.
Campus Tailgating PolicyTicketsTickets to all CNU home football games will be sold the day of the game beginning at 11:00 at the main entrance to Pomoco Stadium.
The ticket office is located in the new building on James River Field between Pomoco Stadium and Captains Soccer Field.
Online ticket sales will begin the week of August 30, 2010 for all CNU home football games.
Ticket prices are:
- Reserved Chairback - $20
- Reserved Bleacher - $10
- General Admission - $7
