Starting on July 1 returning season ticket holders will have a priority renewal period. The deadline for returning season ticket holders to renew their seats will be Wednesday, July 29th. Season ticket holders can renew either over the phone, mail the completed season ticket form with payment to the address below, or can renew in person. 

Starting on Monday, August 3rd new season ticket holders for the 2026 football season will start to be processed. For those interested in season tickets for the 2026 are recommended to call the CNU Athletic Ticket Office at (757) 594-7880 or mail in a completed season ticket form to the mailing address found below.

2026 Individual Game Tickets
Individual game tickets for reserved bleacher and general admission will be available for purchase on Thursday, August 13th either by ordering online here, over the phone (757) 594-7880, or in-person at the CNU Athletic Ticket Office window. The prices are as follows:

• Reserved Bleacher: $20*
• General Admission: $10*

*For CNU Homecoming Oct. 3rd and CNU Family Weekend Oct. 24th the prices will be as follows: 

• Reserved Bleacher: $30
• General Admission: $15

On Game day if tickets are still available, they will go on sale 2 hours prior to kickoff at TowneBank Stadium. 

Chairback Seats
More information about chairback seats for family weekend will be made available later, depending on remaining availability of chairback seats. 

CNU Students
Current CNU Students (undergraduate or graduate) are free admission to all home football games. Students MUST show their CNU Student ID card at the student entrance gate. CNU students are permitted to sit in the designated student sections which are displayed above. No ticket is required.

CNU Faculty/Staff Tickets
Christopher Newport University faculty and staff do receive one (1) complimentary general admission ticket to all home football games. Subject to availability. 

Faculty and staff can redeem their complimentary tickets the week prior to gameday at the CNU Athletic Ticket Office located in the Freeman Center. They MUST have their CNU ID card when redeeming their ticket.

Refunds/Exchanges Policy
There will be no refunds or exchanges for paid or complimentary tickets purchased through the CNU Athletic Ticket Office. Only in the event the game is canceled will a refund be issued. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Will Call
Customers who have purchased tickets online or over the phone may pick up tickets in advance at the CNU Athletic Ticket Office located in the Freeman Center Monday through Friday 9am-4pm. 

If picking up tickets on the day of the game, Will Call is located to the left of the main entrance gates of TowneBank Stadium, and will open two (2) hours prior to kick-off. All customers who will be picking up tickets MUST present a photo I.D.

Pass List Tent for Player / Coaches Pass List
All pass list ticket pickup will be located at the Will Call tent. Will Call is located to the left of the main entrance gates at TowneBank Stadium. Everyone listed on the pass list MUST present their photo I.D. and sign for their tickets, pickup for complimentary tickets will start two (2) hours prior to kick-off. Pass list include:

• CNU Cheer and CNU Storm player guest list

The CNU Student gate will also open one (1) hour prior to kick-off.

Group Tickets
Group discounts are available for local groups and teams for home football games (min of 10). Group tickets must be purchased in advance of the intended home game and can be purchased in person at the Freeman Center ticket office or by calling the CNU Athletic Ticket office at (757) 594-7880. Tickets are subject to availability

Tickets are subject to availability and not available for purchase for CNU Family Weekend or CNU Homecoming.

Family Weekend
Family weekend is our highest attended home football game. Tickets for family weekend will go on sale Thursday, August 13th for reserved bleacher and general admission. Tickets can be purchased online here or by calling the ticket office at (757) 594-7880. Ticket prices can be found below for family weekend:

Season Tailgate Passes
Season Tailgate passes will be available starting July 15th and are only available by calling the CNU Athletic Ticket Office (757) 594-7880. Season tailgate passes will include all home football games and the price is as follows: $150.

Individual Tailgate Passes
Individual game tailgating passes will go on sale later in August. The prices below are for individual tailgate passes:

• Sept. 5th $30
• Oct. 3rd $50 *CNU Homecoming
• Oct. 24th $50 *CNU Family Weekend
• Oct. 31st $30
• Nov. 7th $30

Tailgate passes can be purchased by calling the ticket office at (757) 594-7880 or online. *Please note that when purchasing a tailgate pass online you must also purchase game tickets as well.

Tailgate Pass Pick-Up
For entering the tailgate lot you will need a Tailgate Hangtag. If you have purchased a tailgate pass either through an online purchase or over the phone you will need to pick up your pass. Either picking up in advance from the CNU Athletic Ticket Office located on the first floor of the Freeman Center Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. 

If picking up the day of the game the tailgate pass pick will be at the main entrance into the tailgate lot. All customers MUST present a photo ID to pick up their tailgate pass. The pass pick up will begin when the tailgate lot opens which can be found below. 

Student Tailgating Passes
CNU Students can purchase their tailgating passes starting August 13th. Student tailgate passes are only available for purchase by coming to the CNU Athletic Ticket Office. The price for a student tailgate pass is $20. 

Tailgate prices will increase day of game for students to $30. 

Lost Tailgate Passes
Tailgate passes are only issued once. If you have lost your tailgate pass you will need to purchase another pass.
