NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- After picking up his 200th career victory at Christopher Newport University on Wednesday night, head coach John Krikorian of the 16th-ranked CNU men's basketball team will join host Dave McHugh tonight on Hoopsville, the D3hoops.com national basketball online talk show. Krikorian's segment is scheduled tentatively for 8:35 pm (EST).

Coach Krikorian and the Captains are 19-3 overall this season and sit in a tie for first in the Capital Athletic Conference standings. The first NCAA Regional Rankings were released on Wednesday as well, listing Christopher Newport second in the Middle Atlantic region. Led by senior All-American guard Marcus Carter, the Captains rank 22nd nationally in scoring margin, outscoring opponents by an average of 14.9 points per game. Carter and sophomore Jason Aigner are averaging 15.8 points per game this season while the senior also leads the team in rebounding (7.4 rpg) and Aigner ninth nationally in three-pointers made. 

Krirkorian will be live with McHugh, host of the program in it's 16th year on D3hoops.com, starting tonight's show at 7:00 pm. Tonight's lineup is as followed in order of appearance (subject to change):

CNU is 9-2 in league play with three games remaining in the CAC regular season schedule. The Captains will next play on Saturday, February 9 with Senior Day scheduled against Frostburg State University at 4:00 pm.
