NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Christopher Newport Head Coach Keith Parr announced Thursday that this Saturday's scheduled Capital Athletic Conference doubleheader against Penn State-Harrisburg has been re-scheduled for next Tuesday, April 16th. The Captains and Lions are scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. at Captains Park.

Weather forecasts calling for steady rain throughout the day on Saturday forced the change. CNU is still scheduled to play York College (Pa.) on Sunday at Captains Park, with the CAC doubleheader set to start at 12:00 p.m.

Christopher Newport is 23-3 this season and 4-0 atop the CAC standings. The Captains are ranked third in the nation this week by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) after being ranked first the last two weeks.
