NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Christopher Newport will play an exhibition men's basketball game on Friday afternoon at Virginia Wesleyan University. Tipoff time is set for 5:00 p.m. at the TowneBank Arena in Virginia Beach.

The game was added to the exhibition schedule after Sunday's scheduled matchup at Lynchburg was canceled.

No fans are permitted to attend any games at Virginia Wesleyan this season per a conference-wide policy passed by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Presidents Council.

Virginia Wesleyan has a 2-3 record so far this season and the Marlins have won three straight games, most recently a 70-54 triumph over Southern Virginia on Tuesday.
