FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- Christopher Newport University Director of Athletics Kyle McMullin and Head Baseball Coach John Harvell announced Sunday's Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference matchup at Mary Washington has been postponed due to CoVID protocols. 

The Captains were scheduled to play a 1:00 p.m. game against the Eagles on Sunday as the second game of a two-game conference series this weekend. Christopher Newport won game one on Saturday, 13-3. 

Both coaching staffs are working together to reschedule the conference game and any announcement will be posted to the CNU baseball schedule at CNUsports.com. 

Christopher Newport is now scheduled to return to action at nationally-ranked North Carolina Wesleyan on Wednesday, March 24 with first pitch scheduled for 3:00 p.m. CNU is 6-4, 1-0 to start the year.
