NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Christopher Newport University Director of Athletics Kyle McMullin and Head Softball Coach Keith Parr today announced two scheduled doubleheaders this week have been postponed due to CoVID protocols.
 
The Captains were scheduled to host Bridgewater on Wednesday at Captains Park, and were then planning to travel for two games Sunday at Meredith. Both twin bills have been postponed, and efforts are being made to re-schedule the games. Attempts are also being made to re-schedule the home twin bill vs. Roanoke, which was postponed last Saturday. 

Christopher Newport's next scheduled games at the moment are on Friday, April 2, at Lynchburg. The doubleheader is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. start.

The Captains have a 14-6 record this season, and were ranked fifth in the nation last week. CNUsports.com will have further schedule changes and additions as soon as they become available.
