John Harvell announced updates to the schedule today, including a postponement of Wednesday's doubleheader at William Peace University. The twin bill between the Captains and Pacers has been postponed due to potential of bad weather in the Raleigh, N.C. area on Wednesday. No makeup date has been announced at this time.
Also on Tuesday, Harvell announced the schedule adjustment for the Mary Washington game that was cancelled last weekend. Christopher Newport will now host the Eagles in a Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference doubleheader on Saturday April 17, starting at Noon, and will travel to Fredericksburg for the makeup game on Sunday, April 18.
Christopher Newport is 8-4 overall with a 3-0 record in conference play so far this season. The Captains next game is now scheduled for this weekend as CNU travels to St. Mary's College of Maryland for two games. First pitch on Saturday, April 3 is slated for 3:00 p.m. and will be followed by a 1:00 p.m. matchup on Sunday, April 4.
