2019 -Senior- Played in just one game, the season opener vs. North Central, and did not return to the field due to injury...broke up one pass in his limited playing time.

2018 - Junior - Earned honorable mention All-Conference accolades while serving as a disruptive force on the defensive unit … Registered seven sacks during the year, which led the team and ranked third in the CAC … That also equaled the fifth-highest single-season total in program history … Tied the single-game school record with four sacks, including two on fourth-down attempts, against Wesley … That also established a new facility record … Finished that game with a season-high five tackles … Honored as the NJAC Defensive Player of the Week after collecting 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble during a win against Kean on … Also had a pair of quarterback hurries and two pass breakups to round out his award-winning performance against the Cougars … Forced a fumble and had four tackles against Salisbury as well … Collected at least two tackles in each of his nine appearances and finished the year with 29 total stops, including 22 solo efforts … Tied for the team lead with 10 tackles for a loss and had at least one in five of his outings ... Helped the Captains finish eighth in the nation in total defense (234.7 yards per game) and 15th in scoring defense (12.4 points per game).

2017 - Sophomore - Competed in the final six games of the year … Made a solo tackle against Wesley in the season finale.

2016 - Freshman - Saw action in nine games during his second year at CNU … Registered a pair of tackles, including a solo stop at Hampden-Sydney … Came back with an assisted stop in the season finale against Southern Virginia … Served as a key member of the special teams unit and blocked a punt in the second quarter of the team’s victory over SVU.

At  John Champe - Competed in multiple sports during his time with the Knights … Saw action as a linebacker and tight end with the football team … Helped the squad claim the district and conference championships in 2016 … Picked up All-State honors in track & field after placing seventh at the state title meet in the 4x100-relay … Also saw time as a center and power forward on the basketball team.
 
Personal - Conner Ryan is the son of Nicki and Sean Ryan … Has two sisters, Kendrick and Emerson … Herschel Walker is his favorite athlete, and Joyner Lucas is his favorite athlete … “The Longest Yard” is his favorite movie … His dream vacation would be a trip to the Bahamas … The most impressive person he has ever met is Eric Shinseki, a Four-Star Army General … Majoring in communication.
