2024 -- Junior Season -- Stepped up in a big way in the defensive backfield for the Captains, playing in nine games...led the squad with five interceptions, with three coming in the season finale at TowneBank Stadium vs. TCNJ...Returned his five picks a total of 166 yards and scored on a 40-yard interception return in the season opener at Trine in Angola, Indiana...made 13 total tackles, with 11 solo stops...named second team All-State by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID)...named second team All-Conference by the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC)...finished tied for the conference lead in interceptions with five on the year.

2023  --  Sophomore Season  --  Played in two games for the Captains...made his debut in the season opener on September 2nd vs. Southern Virginia at TowneBank Stadium, and recorded a solo tackle...also saw action at home vs. Kean on October 21st.

2022  --  Freshman Season  -- Opened his college career on the Captains roster in the defensive backfield...did not see any game action in Paul Crowley's opening season leading CNU.

At King George -- Named Scout Player of the Year ... Earned Coaches Award and Most Improved award with the basketball team ... Second Team All District ... Led team in interceptions, kick and punt return yards 

Personal -- Elijah Savon Sherfield was born in Woodbridge, Va. and goes by the nickname Eli ... Son of Timothy and Lajuanda Sherfield ... Has one sister, Ciara, and one brother, Niko ... Favorite athlete is Jalen Ramsey ... Dream vacation is a trip to China ... Favorite food is barbecue chicken ... Favorite movie is "Star Wars" and favorite TV show is "Spongebob Squarepants" ...
