2008 - Sophomore Season - Contributed 31 tackles, including eight (four solo and four assisted) against Wilkes...Also had four solos and an assist versus Salisbury and two solos and three assists in the Ferrum game...Broke up passes against Methodist and Washington & Jefferson and returned three kickoffs for a total of 15 yards versus Maryville.

2007 - Freshman Season - Missed the season’s first three games but then saw action in all seven the rest of the way...Had a total of four tackles against Ferrum, including two solos and added one solo and two assists in the Averett game...Forced a fumble versus Methodist and had an interception in the Ferrum game.

AT DENBIGH - Chosen first team all-Peninsula District in his senior year...Also played soccer and ran track...A member of the National Honor Society, on the Honor Roll and an Honors graduate... Also a Peer Mediator and volunteered at a soup kitchen and the Relay for Life.

PERSONAL - Randell William Bronte-Tinkiew was born Jan. 14, 1989 in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago...He’s majoring in History and is the son of William and Myrtle Bronte-Tinkiew...Has a brother Randy, 24.
