Biography

2008-09 - Junior Season - Came back after a season lost due to illness and did not miss a beat...Named first team all-USA South and second team all-Virginia Division II-III...Barely missed averaging a double-double, as he did in his sophomore year, by just two rebounds, with a 9.9 average...Had 15 double figure rebound gamees, topped by 17 against Lewis & Clark...Also scored in double figures 18 times with 21-point games versus Lewis & Clark and Greensboro...The Lewis & Clark contest helped earn him all-tournament honors at the Cactus Jam in Phoenix, AZ...Ranked third in the nation in blocked shots with 3.7 per contest and begins his senior year ranked 16th all-time in Division III in total blocked shots with 294...Had seven blocks against N.C. Wesleyan.

2007-08 - Junior Season - Did not play, illness.

2006-07 - Sophomore Season - Built on his outstanding freshman year by averaging a double-double for the whole season with 10.6 points and 10.2 rebounding marks...Honorable mention all Virginia Division II-III for the second straight year...In just two years he placed sixth on CNU's all-time list for blocked shots and was only 61 short of being in the top ten in rebounding...His blocked shot average of 3.7 per game was second best in the nation in Division III...Scored a career-high 25 points against Methodist and had a total of 15 games in double figures...Had 16 in consecutive games versus Castleton St. and Frostburg St...Pulled down 19 rebounds in a game with Fisk and had 15 in the Castleton St. game and 14 three other times...Had a total of nine double-doubles for the year.

2005-06 - Freshman Year - Became one of the few freshmen to start a season-opening game under head coach C.J. Woollum and produced an outstanding season...Wound up starting 26 times and earned honorable mention all-USA South honors...Also chosen second team all-Virginia Division II-III...Ranked fifth in the nation in Division III in blocked shots with an average of 3.6 per game...His total of 100 blocks also equalled the CNU single season mark...In addition, he was fourth in the country in rebounding at 9.2 per game...Scored a season-high 16 points against Methodist and was in double figures 11 times...Also had 15 points versus Shenandoah...Posted 13 double figure rebounding games, led by 14 each against Frostburg St., Averett and Methodist.

At Grafton
Earned second team all-region and first team all-Bay Rivers District honors in his senior year...Averaged 16 points, 11 rebounds and six blocked shots...Played for coach Buff Hochman.
