Biography

2006 Sophomore Season:
Selected to the all-USA South second team. He took fifth place at the conference title meet with a clocking of 28:34 to earn a spot on the all-meet team. Placed 50th at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional in 27:59.
2005 Freshman Season:
Earned first team All-USA South honors by finishing seventh in 27:58. He was also selected as the USA South Rookie of the Year. In addition, he ran a 27:07, good for 51st, in the NCAA South-Southeast Regional meet.
At Gloucester:
Ran cross country and indoor track for three years and competed in outdoor track all four years all under
head coach Heidi Overbay. Helped Gloucester to district championship titles in both his junior and senior seasons. Personally was first team all district cross country in both of those seasons and an All-Region Honorable Mention in all three of his sports.
Personal:
David Michael Woodson was born March 17, 1987 in Honolulu, HI., and is a biology major. He is the son of Rickie and Adell Woodson and has a brother Christopher, 23, and two sisters Andrea, 26, and Melissa, 24.
