2006 Sophomore Season:
CNU's top finisher in each meet. His 26th place finish at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional
earned him second team all-region honors. He ran a 27:06 at the meet. Named first team all-USA South, although he did not participate in the conference championship meet.
2005 Freshman Season:
Had solid performances at the Sea Gull Invitational (27:50) and the New York University Invitational
(29:36). Earned second team All-USA South honors. He was also on the USA South all-academic team and on the Dean's list in the spring of 2006.
At Page County:
Participated in Outdoor Track for five years, starting in the 8th grade. Ran cross country all four years in
high school for coach Stan Price. Was an All-District cross country runner three times and All-Region twice. All-State, All-Region and All-District three times in outdoor track. Set the school record in the 800 in outdoor track at 1:59.28.
Personal:
Nathaniel David Huffman was born March 1, 1987 in Reston, Va. He is the son of Michael Huffman and Katrina Nelson and has a brother Jacob, 14 and a sister Chelsea, 18. He's a Biology major.
