2017 - Freshman Season - Established herself as one of the top pitchers in the conference during her first collegiate campaign … Picked up first-team All-CAC accolades, second-team All-State nods, and third-team All-Region plaudits for her work … Led the league with a 1.80 ERA and ranked fifth in the conference with 12 victories … Limited the opposition to a .219 batting average over 101 innings of work … Fired 10 complete games during the year, including an eight-inning masterpiece against Virginia Wesleyan on March 12 … Only pitcher in the nation to record a complete game victory against the eventual national champion Marlins … Began her career with an incredible run, tossing back-to-back complete games, including a shutout in her collegiate debut at Meredith on February 18 … Came back with a save in her third appearance against Salem on February 26 and collected CAC Pitcher of the Week honors on February 27 for that early-season run … Continued her dominance with a complete game one-hitter against No. 8 Emory on March 5 … Fired shutouts against Frostburg State on April 15 and Mount St. Mary in the NCAA Tournament on May 12 … Dominated during the CAC Tournament, striking out a season-high nine batters while earning the win in the opener against Mary Washington on April 20 … Returned to the circle and picked up a three-inning save while striking out six against the Eagles in the CAC Championship on April 22 … Was nearly flawless over the final month of the season, tossing 27.1 consecutive scoreless innings from April 8 - May 14 … Finished the season with a team-high 68 strikeouts and had five or more in four of her appearances.
