Biography

2024 - Senior Season - Concluded her career by playing in 34 games, and making four starts for the Captains...posted six hits in 23 at bats...drove in four runs and walked three times...played outstanding defense in the outfield, handling all 15 chances without an error...hit a solo home run in the opening game of a twin bill vs. Meredith on April 28th at Captains Park, and was three-for-five in the doubleheader...stole two bases on three attempts. 

2023 - Junior Season - Saw action in 42 of 44 games for the Captains, starting 25 times ... smacked two home runs and also registered five doubles ... scored 11 runs while driving in 11 runs as well ... Posted a .224 batting average in 76 at bats ... was honored for her work in the classrooms as she received Academic All-District recognition ... homered at William Peace on April 11 and also vs. Virginia Wesleyan on May 27 in the NCAA Super Regional final at Captains Park ... also posted two triples giving her nine extra base hits to go with eight singles ... drove in three runs vs. Averett on April 23 ... recorded 31 putouts and also had an assist without making an error.

2022 - Sophomore Season - Started 19 games in the outfield and made 45 total appearances while helping the Captains win the program's first national championship ... Posted a .308 batting average in 65 at bats ... Scored 21 runs and knocked in 20 ... Launched a home run in each of her first two starts during the year after going deep against Oberlin on February 26 and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on March 6 ... Added a blast in back-to-back appearances against Meredith on April 10 and William Peace on April 14 ... Also chipped in with a double in both of those games ... Recorded a hit in five straight outings from March 16-20 ... Finished that streak with eight hits and seven runs scored ... Registered six multi-hit contests, including a 2-for-2 showcase with two runs scored and a stolen base against No. 13 Roanoke on March 19 ... Came through with an RBI single while leading Christopher Newport to a 5-0 win over No. 2 Salisbury during the opening game of the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Championship on May 5 ... Made nine appearances during the NCAA Tournament ... Had five putouts during the national playoffs, including a pair during the title-clinching game against No. 20 Trine on May 31 ... Also had two putouts in a win at No. 3 Virginia Wesleyan on March 23 ... Started 18 games in rightfield and once in center ... Converted 16 of her 18 total chances in the field during the year ... Garnered Academic All-Conference plaudits for her scholarly achievements as well.

2021 - Freshman Season - Made immediate contributions during the year while appearing in 16 games and earning two starts … Finished her debut campaign with a .273 batting average … Started in leftfield during the season opener against No. 4 Virginia Wesleyan on February 27 … Also earned a start in centerfield and laced her first collegiate hit against N.C. Wesleyan on March 10 … Came back with an RBI pinch hit double in her very next appearance at Transylvania on March 13 … Knocked in a run with a single during a league bout against Southern Virginia on April 10 … Also plated a run after working a bases-loaded walk at Emory & Henry on March 14 … Converted all five of her chances in the outfield while compiling a 1.000 fielding percentage during the year … Flashed an outstanding arm by gunning down a runner at the plate from leftfield at Transylvania … Also impressed in the classroom while garnering Academic All-Conference laurels.

At Manchester - Starred as an outfielder during her time with the Lancers … Secured second-team All-State accolades for her work in 2018 … Also was a second-team All-Metro selection in 2019 … Garnered a pair of All-Region plaudits as well … Finished her career with a .370 batting average … Helped lead Manchester to a pair of regional titles and a second-place finish in the VHSL state tournament in 2018 … Was a member of both the National Honor Society and National English Honor Society ... Also was an honors graduate.
