2017 - Freshman Season - Took over as the squad’s starting second baseman and rewarded the Captains with a decorated debut campaign … Collected second-team All-Conference and All-State nods while earning third-team All-Region accolades … Led all freshmen with 43 starts, including 40 at second base … Ranked second in the CAC with 14 doubles … That also marked the third-highest total by a freshman in program history … Ranked fourth in the CAC with 41 runs scored and fifth with 17 walks … Finished the season with a .376 batting average while placing third on the squad with a .447 on-base percentage … Tied for the team-lead with 18 multi-hit games, including a 3-for-4 performance against Piedmont on February 25 … Had at least two hits in four straight contests from March 26 - April 1 … Knocked in four runs, scored three times, and lined her first collegiate home run in the middle of that streak against Richard Bland on March 28 … Scored a season-high four runs at Salisbury on April 8 … Laced two hits, including the game-winning walk-off double in extra innings, against the eventual national champion Virginia Wesleyan Marlins on March 12 … Pieced together a season-best nine-game hitting streak from February 18 - March 4 … Ended the season on an equally impressive run, reaching base safely in the final 13 contests of the year … Pumped a pair of two-hit games during that streak, torching Mary Washington in the CAC Tournament on April 20 before lacing another two hits at No. 13 Kean during the NCAA Regionals on May 15 … Excelled on the base paths as well, ranking seventh in the CAC with 14 stolen bases … Swiped a pair of bags against William Peace on February 19 … Finished second on the team with 58 assists and helped turn five double plays during the year ...
