Biography

2006-2007 - Qualified for nationals in the triple jump both indoors and outdoors. Indoors he placed fourth in his flight with a jump of 45-9, but did not qualify for the finals. He had set a PR of 47-11 earlier at the Maryland Invitational. Outdoors he won the Mason-Dixon Conference title at 47-2 1/2 and also captured the long jump with a leap of 21-9 1/2. His outdoor triple jump mark did not make the national field.

 

2005-2006 - Won the Mason-Dixon Conference outdoor long jump championship with a leap of 21-10 and was second in the triple jump at 45-5. Also placed seventh in the 100 meters with a time of 11.23.

 

At York: Ran track for four years for coach Sam Jackson, earning All-Bay Rivers District and All-Region honors his junior and senior years. He also was a state runner-up in the indoor triple jump as a senior.

 

Personal: Isaac Lamontae Bell was born March 30, 1987 in Newport News, Va and graduated with honors. The son of Lloyd and Joyce Bell. He is a Business Management major. Has two brothers, Jacob, 25 and Lloyd Jr., 27 and a sister, Tasha, 25.
