2019-20 - Junior Season: Secured All-Region and second-team All-State honors after starring in the high jump during the indoor campaign … Ranked fifth in the South / Southeast Region in the event after posting a season-best effort of 1.58 meters during the CNU Qualifier … Added a pair of top-five finishes at the CAC Championships … Finished third in the league in the high jump (1.51 meters) and fourth in the triple jump (10.13 meters) … Was the runner-up in the high jump during both the CNU Holiday Open and Captains Invitational … Also finished the 60 in 8.73 at the Holiday Open … Placed in the top-10 in seven of her events during the winter.

2018-19 - Sophomore Season: Won the conference championship in the indoor high jump after clearing 1.56 meters during the title meet … Finished fourth in the outdoor event at the CAC Championships after posting a 1.54-meter clearance … Also established a new PR in the javelin during the outdoor league meet with a 24.00-meter toss … Competed in the 100 during the Blue & Silver Challenge while posting a 14.12 clocking … Was the runner-up in the high jump during that competition as well … Had eight top-five finishes during the year, all of which came while starring in the high jump.

2017-18 - Freshman Season: Excelled in the high jump during her first year with the Captains ... Came in fifth in the event at the CAC Indoor Championships (1.52 meters) before placing ninth at the outdoor league meet (1.42 meters) ... Registered her top clearance of the year after eclipsing 1.55 meters at the CNU Holiday Open ... Came in second in the high jump at the Vince Brown Invitational with a 1.51-meter leap ... Had seven top-10 finishes during the year and four top-five marks.

At Park View - Starred on the track and field team for four years with the Patriots … Won a state championship in the high jump as a junior before finishing second as a senior … Secured All-Conference and All-State accolades during each of her final two campaigns … Also was a three-year varsity captain … Competed in basketball as well and collected All-Conference nods in 2016 and 2017 for her work on the hardwood.
 
Personal - Lauryn Elizabeth Helstrom is the daughter of Paul and Judy Helstrom … Has a younger sister, Anna … Majoring in psychology.
