2019-20 - Senior Season:
Cross Country - Made huge contributions at the CAC Championships while helping the Captains claim the team title … Finished 23rd at the league meet after completing the 6k in 26:52.0 … Also finished fifth over that distance at the CNU Invitational while compiling a time of 25:35.3 … Established a PR in the 5k at the Hornet Harrier Challenge with a 21:32.9 mark … Completed the 4k in 17:27.2 at the UMW Opener, which placed her 25th in the field … Wrapped up the 5k in 22:53.4 at the William & Mary Invitational as well.
Track & Field - Placed third in the 800 at the CAC Championships after finishing the race in 2:27.19 … Added a PR in the mile during the CNU Qualifier with a 5:29.00 mark … Posted a pair of top-five finishes during the Captains Invitational after coming in second in the 800 (2:31.66) and fourth in the 4x400-relay (4:27.16) … Also came in fourth in the 800 at the Vince Brown Invitational and fifth at the CNU Holiday Open … Finished in the top-five in five of her seven races during the winter campaign.

2018-19 - Junior Season:
Cross Country - Finished 48th at the CAC Championships after crossing the line in 27:15.5 ... Had her fastest time in the 6k during the Don Cathcart Invitational with a 25:41.3 mark ... Also completed that distance in 27:15.0 at the CNU Invitational ... Ran the 4k in 17:37.0 at the UMW Opener, which placed her 30th in the field.
Track & Field - Nabbed All-Conference and All-Region honors for her performance on the indoor Distance Medley Relay ... Helped lead the foursome to a second-place finish at the CAC Championships with a time of 13:01.59 ... Came back with an eighth-place showing in the 800 during the outdoor league meet after finishing in 2:27.91 ... Had 13 top-10 showings during the year, including a pair of third-place efforts in the 800 and 4x400-relay at the Dr. Jack Toms Alumni Invitational in the spring ... Registered her fastest 800 clocking during that competition after crossing in 2:26.82 ... Posted her finest 1500 mark at the New Captains Classic (5:01.70) and ran the 400 in 1:10.81 at the Lloyd Sigler Spring Meet.

2017-18 - Sophomore Season:
Cross Country - Finished 40th at the CAC Championships in 25:52.5 ... Posted her top 6k time at the Don Cathcart Invitational with a 24:31.0 mark ... Finished 24th in the 4k at the Mary Washington Opener (16:32.9) ... Capped off the year with a time of 24:45.5 at the South / Southeast Regionals.
Track & Field - Came in 10th in the 1500 at the CAC Outdoor Championships after establishing a PR with a time of 5:19.50 ... Placed third in the conference in the DMR (13:17.95) and 12th in the mile (5:55.37) at the indoor league meet ... Had her top mile time of 5:47.42 at the Liberty Kickoff ... Finished the 800 in a season-best time of 2:29.78 at the New Captains Classic ... Had eight top-10 finishes during the year, including a pair of runner-up performances in the 4x400-relay at the Vince Brown Invitational and Tribe Invitational.

2016-17 - Freshman Season:
Cross Country - Came in 55th at the CAC Championships with a time of 27:14.3 … Had her best clocking in the 6k during the Don Cathcart Invitational after finishing in 25:39.1 … Also placed 17th in the 3k at the CNU Invitational and 22nd in the 5k at the William & Mary Invitational.
Track & Field - Registered a pair of top-10 efforts in the 800 during the CAC Championships after finishing seventh in the indoor version (2:30.42) and 10th in the outdoor discipline (2:28.43) … Had her best mark during the winter season with a 2:29.35 clocking at the Vince Brown Invitational … Notched a pair of top-five efforts in the 800 after coming in third in the Tribe Invitational and fourth at the Commonwealth Duals … Also took part in the 1500 and had a season-best time of 5:20.62 during the New Captains Classic.

At Orange County - Excelled on the cross country and track teams for the Hornets … Earned All-Conference honors in cross country during her freshman and sophomore campaigns … Also picked up All-Conference nods for her work in the 1000 as a junior ... Helped lead the 4x400-relay to the regional championships as a senior.
 
Personal - Shannon Marie Woods is the daughter of Kent and Evelyn Woods … Has an older brother, David, who competed in track & field at William & Mary … Her dream vacation would be a trip to Australia ... "Pretty Little Liars" is her favorite TV show, and Jon Bellion is her favorite musician ... Majoring in communications.
