Women's Basketball Ranked Sixth In South Region Poll

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Christopher Newport’s women’s basketball team is currently ranked sixth in the NCAA’s South Region poll released Wednesday.
In the second regional poll of the year, CNU became the first USA South team to be ranked regionally. The poll includes records through this past weekend’s games.
The Captains are 18-5 overall and 13-3 in the USA South. CNU concludes the regular season this weekend when they head to Greensboro on Friday and Methodist on Saturday.
