NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Kicking off the indoor season in style, the Christopher Newport track & field teams compiled seven victories during a solid all-around effort at the Holiday Open on Saturday at the Freeman Center.
"We ended up with a dozen PRs and several near misses with only about a third of the team competing," said head coach
Tyler Wingard. "There were good efforts across the board, and it is great to see so many people ahead or near where they left off last winter."
Headlining the action,
